padded pelmets
Our exclusive Padded Pelmets are available in a range of fabrics, sizes and styles.
They are manufactured from 9mm thick MDF timber which is glued and screwed onto 12mm casing to provide a solid construction. Strengthening battens are then placed across the length to prevent any sagging. Upholstery foam is glued to the facing and then the structure is covered in your chosen fabric which is machined and pattern matched to the correct lengths. The lining for the back of the structure is glued and then hand stitched to provide a crafted finish.
All Padded Pelmets are 450mm high, at the highest point, and all have a 150mm boxed return to the tops and sides. Each pelmet is supplied with 100mm fixing brackets and easy-to-install instructions.
Re-Cover Service
If you already have a pelmet and would like it to be covered in a fabric to match your other interiors such as curtains, bedding, valances, etc., then please contact us and we will be happy to discuss this with you.

how to measure
1) Measure your window opening size on the inside.
2) Add on 15cm either side (30cm in total) to the width.
3) If you are covering over existing tracks then the Pelmet measurement should be 5cm longer on both sides of your existing track so that it covers correctly.
